Shipping
We make every effort to ship to our customers with the safest and most efficient method available. Shipping fees will vary based on domestic or international shipping. Our preferred method of shipping for both U.S. and international customers is USPS Priority Mail with signature required. We have private insurance so all items are covered for the full value of the item and customers are not charged for this service. However, please understand that there is a handling fee for items sold that is included in your shipping rates. Please understand that postal rates are on the rise and we do not profit from shipping.
For customers in the U.S. that prefer expedient shipping we offer FedEx. Rates will vary depending on how quickly you would like delivery. For quicker international service FedEx may be available but please contact us for details. We don’t recommend FedEx for international shipping as the costs can be extremely high.

Returns
(New notice as of 4/7/22) PLEASE NOTE: Shanna Schmidt Numismatics Inc. does not sell encapsulated ('slabbed') coins. If you decide to send your coin into a third party grading service (currently only NGC encapsulates ancient coins) please note that any differences in grade is NOT grounds for return. Third party grading services are solely a matter of opinion and not fact. Furthermore, NGC does not guarantee the authenticity of ancient coins. As a matter of service to customers coins that are suspected of not being authentic by NGC is grounds for return. Also, if you decide to return a coin that has been encapsulated it must be cracked out and returned in the condition it was sold. A $35 fee will be applied to any coin returned that is still encapsulated.

We have a 100% money back guarantee for the first 14 days from purchase. This does not include any shipping fees charged or for return shipping to Shanna Schmidt Numismatics Inc. This is the responsibility of the buyer. Safe return of items are the responsibility of the buyer until received by Shanna Schmidt Numismatics Inc.
